Most municipalities have zoned properties based on use. This is intended to keep a city from having schools or hospitals be crowded amongst noisy industrial sites or railroad yards. Planning and Zoning departments are intended to create high quality, sustainable communities for the public and businesses. Often times a property will be zoned for a certain use that does not meet the need of a developer. Changing the zoning for a site can be a challenge and require a number of different documents be submitted with the municipality to apply for the new zoning designation. We are able to create zoning descriptions and zoning exhibits to help facilitate with the zoning change process. This typically is an exhibit which includes a site description and depiction which can be used for describing and displaying the site for the municipality zoning application.
